‘One Day At A Time’ Was Just Saved But Not By Netflix
One Day At A Time was canceled by Netflix following the conclusion of the TV show's third season. The company claimed at the time that the groundbreaking TV series wasn't able to find a large enough audience to justify a fourth season. Now, Pop TV has announced plans to air 13 new episodes as part of a fourth season run.
The average American viewer might not be familiar with Pop TV but it's the company that brought the superbly funny Schitt's Creek to the United States. For fans worried the show might lose some of the stuff that has made it special, Sony Pictures TV will continue to produce the series.

Pop TV President Brad Schwartz seems to agree with fan sentiment toward the show, writing in a Pop TV statement, “How amazing it is to be involved with this brilliant and culturally significant series that deals with important themes one minute while making you laugh the next."Thank you Pop TV, we can't wait to see the Alvarez family back on the small screen in 2020.
